The pastor felt a twinge of embarrassment asking his therapist a question he already knew the answer to, but he asked it anyways:
“Can people really change?”
The therapist didn’t flinch: “Of course they can! I wouldn’t be a therapist if I didn’t believe that!”
His confident enthusiasm caused the pastor to breathe a sigh of relief. That was the assurance he needed that morning.
Have you ever wondered whether people really can change?
