Getting to know Carolyn
Carolyn’s journey into the field of counseling was not a direct path, but it was one she always felt drawn to. Despite starting in business, she could not ignore her passion for supporting others on a deeper level. Now, as a counselor, she is grateful for the diverse range of life experiences she has accumulated, as they have shaped her into a compassionate and understanding professional.
Carolyn finds great fulfillment in working with adolescents and adults, supporting them through various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and marital difficulties, parenting struggles, grief, loss, and life transitions. She understands that each person's journey is unique, and she tailors her approach accordingly, supporting her clients and helping them gain tools to achieve their personal goals. Carolyn believes in the power of therapy and is committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental environment where her clients can heal and grow.
In her personal life, Carolyn cherishes her role as a parent to two enjoyable young adult children, and she brings the same nurturing and caring attitude into her counseling practice. She finds joy and relaxation in spending time outdoors, whether it's walking her friendly labrador or hiking with friends. You can often find her reading a captivating book or indulging in her husband's delicious cooking. Above all, Carolyn finds solace in connecting with God and others, recognizing the importance of these relationships in her own personal growth and restoration.
