Style and Approach

She’s (probably) the right fit for you, if…

  • You’re looking for someone to accept you for who you are, and compassionately hold you accountable to the changes you’re seeking.

  • You’re looking for support with anxiety, depression, or hurts and disappointments that you can’t seem to get past.

  • You wonder if certain experiences in your life are impacting how you show up for yourself and others.

  • You notice you keep making similar choices that may not serve you anymore.

  • You feel stuck or hopeless and aren’t sure where to start.

Understanding your Story

Chelsey holds three main things to be true for her clients:
1.You have a story worthy of being heard. Understanding that story, and how you experience your role within it, can greatly impact your capacity for healing.
2. Healing is always possible, and it often takes time. With a therapy practice grounded in narrative therapy principles, Chelsey will work with you to explore and better understand your story, identify and shift unhelpful patterns, and gain a deeper sense of self-awareness and recognition of your own strength.
3. Life is not the Trauma Olympics. Your experiences and feelings are valid, regardless of how they might measure up to what someone else has gone through. You are worthy of a supportive and healing-focused environment where you feel safe, heard, and respected. Fun Facts
