Getting to know Andrew
Andrew Nunley III is a servant leader and licensed professional counselor who promotes a loving and nurturing environment that fosters opportunities for spiritual growth and transformation wherever he goes. He sees adults, couples, and families at Lifeologie Counseling Cedar Hill.
With years of experience as an Elder in the United Methodist Church, having served his local church from 2001 to 2026, Andrew supports individuals struggling with addiction, ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief, mental health disorders, trauma, and stress. He brings deep experience to his work with first responders and to his approach for couples counseling, from pre-marital jitters to intimacy issues and communication.
Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts. and Master of Education at Texas Southern University, and his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Southern Methodist University. He has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2000. In addition, he served in the United States Military for 12 years and received an Honorable Discharge from the Army Reserves and the Army National Guard.
He is the CEO and founder of the Children of Nun’s Lighthouse True Blue Christian Counseling Center, Inc. He is on the Board of the Depression Connection for Recovery and is a Board Ambassador for the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District.
He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. He has six children, Andrew (30), Andre (25), Alexus (23), Alisha (21), Angela (18), and Abraham (16), and a grandson named Cinco.
