Getting to know Anna
Anna has spent over four years as a therapist supporting a variety of mental health needs. But she thinks that an equally valuable part of her journey to being in mental health has been as a counseling client herself, learning first-hand what it is like for those who sit with her in session. She believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to have their mental wellness fostered, and she wants to provide that space for you in your meetings.
Anna specializes in self-esteem, stress, depression, substance use, relationship challenges, family dynamics, and parenting concerns. She can also help with couples, life transitions, identity challenges, and women's issues.
Anna is seminary trained and therefore educated in integrating Christian counseling into the clinical process if this is something that is desired by the client. Anna understands that our relationships with God, the church, and faith can at times be complicated, and she is here to process that with her clients. Research has shown that faith can support mental health, so Anna would love to bring that aspect of your life into your therapy.
