Getting to know Deborah
Deborah is deeply committed to supporting individuals, teens, couples, and families who are feeling confused, weary, or undergoing personal growth. She walks alongside her clients to help them find stability and discover their unique sense of balance. Her goal is to help clients center in Christ and experience the joy of knowing they are completely loved.
As your counselor, Deborah will be intensely present, invested, and diligent as you journey together toward mental and emotional wellness. She respects the significant effort required to navigate unexpected challenges and understands how isolating the search for new understanding can be. Deborah strives to make this journey less lonely and is passionate about sharing her expertise to promote healing, growth, and thriving through life’s inevitable obstacles.
Deborah recently returned from South Korea, where she spent five years working with the military as a therapist. She supported families, couples, adolescents, and service members, which greatly enhanced her ability to adapt to clients’ needs and address unique life challenges. Deborah views this experience as evidence of life’s divine design and the way God perfectly shapes our lives when we are completely surrendered.
Previously, Deborah served as a victim advocate, crisis counselor, and director of a successful Christian-based community program in Collin County. These roles have equipped her with a wealth of experience, deep empathy and a solid foundation in faith.
Her early years were marked by chaos, abandonment, abuse, and neglect. Through a positive outlook, consistent reframing she was able to experience God's grace and redemption. In 2005 she had a mind & heart shifting spiritual experience - which solidified her belief in Jesus. Her life was transformed, opening the door to joy, resilience, and success.
Her passion lies in helping clients achieve fulfilling lives through living into their faith, authentic wrestling and participating in healthy relationships.
