Are you feeling lost, stuck, or just tired of carrying it all alone? Javonna Hamilton is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CTTP). She offers therapy in a space where you can slow down, be honest, and make sense of it all. She sees teens and adults at Lifeologie Counseling Allen in Texas. She's especially passionate about helping people who’ve spent much of their lives taking care of others but are now ready to reconnect with themselves.
Meet Javonna
Javonna supports clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and big life transitions—especially those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.
Javonna believes that trauma and life stress can make it hard to stay present—and her goal is to help people reconnect with themselves, live more fully in the moment, and create lives that feel meaningful and whole. If faith is an important part of a client’s life, Javonna also offers Christian counseling, and welcomes those conversations with openness and respect.
Clients often describe Javonna as warm, down-to-earth, and deeply caring. Her approach is supportive and honest—she creates a safe space for healing while gently encouraging clients to explore patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may be holding them back.
Whether someone is navigating old wounds, adjusting to a new phase of life, or learning to set boundaries and honor their needs, Javonna walks alongside them every step of the way. Her work is rooted in building trust and helping people come home to themselves, often for the very first time.
Her Approach
Javonna earned her Bachelors in Psychology and her Masters of Education in Counseling from The University of Texas at Austin. She tailors each session to the individual, drawing from a mix of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic techniques, and trauma-informed care. She meets people where they are and helps them move at their own pace, while also holding space for growth, truth-telling, and transformation.
Javonna’s passion for therapy grew from her lifelong curiosity about people’s stories and how experiences shape identity, beliefs, and behavior. Her desire to help others was also shaped by her own journey of working through negative self-perceptions, people-pleasing, and the process of discovering her authentic self. Because she knows the courage it takes to face what hurts, she holds deep empathy for those on the path to healing.
